We’re looking for a skilled Proposal Engineer to join our growing Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) team. In this role, you’ll combine your engineering expertise with commercial acumen to deliver winning proposals for large-scale renewable energy projects across Europe and beyond.

🔑 What you’ll be doing

• Reviewing customer RFQs and public tenders, ensuring our BESS solutions are the best technical and commercial fit.
• Designing and sizing BESS systems, including PCS, EMS/PMS, and system integration.
• Preparing detailed cost estimates for equipment, materials, labour, and subcontractors.
• Developing compelling technical and economic proposals for utility-scale projects.
• Working closely with procurement and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and availability.
• Delivering technical presentations to clients and supporting sales in defining the regional value proposition.
• Collaborating with R&D, engineering, and legal teams to shape winning solutions and clear project scopes.

👤 What we’re looking for

• Engineering degree (Electrical, Power Systems or similar). MBA is a plus.
• 5 years’ experience as a Proposal Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar within utility-scale renewable energy EPC projects.
• Proven expertise in grid-scale BESS applications, power electronics, PCS and Power Management Systems.
• Familiarity with ISO standards, utilities, IPPs, TSOs/DSOs.
• Strong commercial awareness — comfortable balancing cost, performance, and client needs.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (other EU languages a plus).
• A team player who thrives in multinational, cross-functional environments.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
