Electrical Engineer (m/f/d) – Renewable Energy & Solar Projects

We are recruiting for an exciting renewable energy client delivering innovative solar and sustainable energy solutions across a growing portfolio of projects. With hundreds of successful installations already completed, they are continuing to scale and are looking for an Electrical Engineer to support the delivery of cutting-edge photovoltaic and energy storage systems.

What you’ll be doing

• Planning and supporting the delivery of photovoltaic, battery storage, EV charging and heat pump projects alongside sales and project teams
• Carrying out AC-side installation work for solar systems, energy storage and charging infrastructure
• Commissioning complete systems in line with current electrical safety standards
• Integrating smart energy management systems connected to electricity market platforms
• Completing measurement protocols, testing documentation and installation sign-offs
• Troubleshooting faults, carrying out preventative maintenance and resolving technical issues
• Supporting day-to-day operational delivery and contributing proactively to project success

What we’re looking for

• Completed electrical apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering, building services or energy systems
• Experience as an Electrician, Electrical Technician, Electrical Installer or similar
• Strong understanding of electrical installations and safety standards
• Interest in renewable energy, photovoltaics and sustainable technologies
• Hands-on, proactive and solution-focused approach
• Strong customer-facing communication skills
• Willingness to learn new technologies and systems through structured training
• Full Class B driving licence
